Half term can be an exciting (and expensive!) time for families, so we’ve pulled together a list of places across South Wales where kids can eat free or for just £1.

Whether you’re planning a day out or just want an easy meal together, these offers can help keep costs down while still enjoying time as a family.

BrewDog

Kids can eat for free at BrewDog with every meal purchased by an adult during half term week.

This offer must be booked in advance using the KIDS EAT FREE booking reference.

Bill’s

Two kids can eat for free when one adult orders any main meal. Children can also take home a free colour and read me book. The offer is available Monday to Friday.

Tesco

Children can enjoy a free meal with any adult item purchased in a Tesco cafe from Monday to Friday.

The offer includes a Kids’ Hot Meal Deal, Kids’ Hot Breakfast or Kids’ Pick ‘N’ Mix for dine-in. A Clubcard is required.

ASDA

ASDA’s Kids Eat for £1 offer is available over the half term and all year round.

Children also receive a free piece of fruit when purchasing the hot kids £1 meal deal and there is no adult spend required.

Morrisons

Kids can get a free meal with any adult meal purchased for £5 or more at a Morrisons cafe. The offer also includes a free kids drink.

Sainsbury’s

Kids can get a hot main meal or lunch bag for £1 with the purchase of an adult meal in a Sainsbury’s cafe. It’s available from 11.30am until the café closes.

Dobbies Garden Centres

Kids can eat for £1 with every adult breakfast and main course meal at lunch. The offer includes a drink and applies to kids’ breakfasts, the lunch menu or a pick ‘n’ mix meal.

Pizza Hut

The buffet is free for kids every day before 3pm using the code KEF. You have to spend £9.99 on other food. The Kids Meal Deal is free after 3pm.

Harvester

A children’s meal can be bought for £1 with an adult main. The kids’ meal can be from the Smaller Bites and Bigger Bites menus or the Kids’ breakfast menu.

Toby Carvery

Kids can enjoy a children’s main meal, carvery or breakfast for £1 with an adult main meal. You have to show a voucher, which can be downloaded from the Toby Carvery app.

Hungry Horse

Kids can eat for £1 every Monday at Hungry Horse pubs, when accompanied by a full-price adult meal.

Up to two children per adult can enjoy the offer.

Sizzling pubs

Kids can get a meal for £1 with an adult main meal at Sizzling pubs. The offer is available from 12pm during the school holidays, and in term time Monday to Friday from 3pm.

Subway

Subway is offering a free kids meal with the purchase of any Footlong Sub.

The ‘kids pack’ includes a four-inch mini sub, a drink and snack. It’s available from February 14thuntil February 20th.

YO! Sushi

Kids can eat free all day at YO! Sushi restaurants when dining with a full-paying adult who spends at least £10.

The offer is available Monday to Friday for children aged 12 or under.

Ikea

Children can enjoy a hot meal for 95p at Ikea, along with free, supervised play for 60 minutes while you are shopping. It’s available from 11am.
