Celtic Horizons
A new Managing Director has been appointed to Celtic Horizons which provides all the asset management services for Caerphilly-based housing association United Welsh.
Mark Bugler has joined the team at the award-winning asset management service which was established by a unique partnership between United Welsh and Mears Group four years ago.
Mark, aged 51, joins Celtic Horizons from an SME and large corporate background, having delivered and led professional services across the construction sector. Mark has more than 20 years experience in the housing sector, having initially qualified as a carpenter and joiner, before qualifying as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and progressing to work at various director level posts, leading on national roles and major projects. Mark is also a previous Board Member at United Welsh and has extensive experience of the public sector markets.
He said, “I am delighted to be joining Celtic Horizons. A great deal has been achieved over the past four years and I am looking forward to working with the teams at Celtic Horizons, United Welsh and Mears to continue to build on the success which has already been enjoyed.”
Mark, who is originally from Bridgend added, “I am really looking forward to working closely with our customers and continuing to drive up levels of customer satisfaction.”
Celtic Horizons was developed in partnership with Mears Group and is the first partnership of its kind in Wales. It was established with tenants involved throughout the process giving more than 400 hours of their time over two years.
It has won a number of awards in its first years of operation including a UK Housing Award for Maintaining High Quality Homes in 2015.
