Overview

We are delivering 33 new affordable homes to Ystrad Mynach.

Our development at Winding Wheel Lane will be built on land close to Parc Penallta, and a short distance away from the village of Ystrad Mynach, providing residents easy access to local facilities, services, and public transport.

It will comprise of three three-storey apartment blocks, with the homes available for social rent through Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Common Housing Register.

The development will be built to the highest levels of energy efficiency and will be AEC-B rated (an alternative to EPC-A). Celtic Offsite, a social enterprise within the United Welsh Group, will manufacture the timber frame structures for the homes from their factory in Caerphilly.

The build will then be finished on site by development contractor Bluefield Land, Ltd.
