Morgan Jones Park is a Green Flag award winning park that in the summer months lets rip their Wetter is Better jets – perfect for cooling down in the heat!
The park is also home to a café that gives back to the local community, as well as a wildflower meadow and a skate park.

Described as the ‘green heart of the city,’ Bute Park is tucked behind Cardiff Castle and is a stone’s throw away from Cardiff’s main high streets and the civic centre.
The sprawling park gives kids plenty of space to play, and there are three cafes to choose from if they need refreshments.

First set up in 1998 to care for injured or abandoned hawks, falcons and wild owls, the owl sanctuary also gives children the opportunity to learn about the birds and even hold an owl!

A beautiful and iconic Welsh landmark, Dyffryn Gardens has two log stack play areas with plenty of space for playing and exploring.
Top tip: bring a magnifying glass or binoculars so you can spot the birds, squirrels, and creepy crawlies that make their home in the gardens.
