Residents Communications Group

At United Welsh, we want our communication to be clear, accessible, and shaped by the people who matter most - our residents. We’ve set up the Resident Communications Group so residents can tell us what works and what doesn’t, helping us make our messages clearer and better for you.

This group is made up of residents who help United Welsh make our messages and information easier to understand. We want to make sure everyone gets the news and updates they need, in a way that works for them.

Your voice helps us:

  • Make information clearer and more accessible.
  • Make sure updates are communicated in ways that work for you
  • Build stronger connections between United Welsh and our communities.

Members of the group:

  • Suggest ways to make our website easier to use
  • Review newsletters, letters, and online posts
  • Share ideas for new things, like:
    • Videos about events and staff
    • Stories from volunteers and community news

In return for your help, we can offer:

  • Training and workshops to boost or widen your skills
  • Full volunteer perks with United Welsh, including covering the costs of childcare, travel, or caring responsibilities when attending meetings or training sessions
  • Vouchers as a thank you for your help
