To leave the home you rent with us, please tell us in writing. The minimum notice period required to end your contract is four weeks. You can do this by logging in to the Ted app, clicking on the ‘Requests’ tab and completing a ‘Landlord’s Consent’ form.
Please tell us:
Please write to us with the details above and we will contact you.
A joint occupation contract means that more than one person’s name is on the contract.
If you are a joint contract holder and give notice to end your contract, this will not end the agreement for everyone else.
Please talk about your intention to give notice with the other joint contract holder(s) before you take any action. United Welsh may be able to give a new agreement to the other person(s) so they can continue renting the property without you.
If you are a joint contract holder, you may be able to pass your contract on to someone else. Please go to the Ted app, click on the ‘Requests’ tab and complete a ‘Landlord’s Consent’ form with the details.
Please don’t do this; it will not end your legal responsibilities for the home. You will still be charged rent and it will be harder for you to rent another home.
Write to us to start the formal process for ending your contract instead.
