What to expect in an interview with us

If your application shows that you meet the key criteria for the role you’re applying for, you will be invited in for an interview. Here, we outline what to expect on the day.

When you attend an interview with us, you’ll meet two groups of employees. The first group will start with an informal welcome, an opportunity to get to know more about you, why you’d like to work with us, and for you to find out more about working at United Welsh.

You’ll then be given the interview questions for the next stage, and 10 minutes to take a look at them and gather your thoughts.

Then you’ll be introduced to the recruitment panel, made up of the hiring manager and two other staff members. This section lasts around 30-60 minutes, with the interview panel asking you the questions as well as any follow-up questions.

Things to remember

  • Be honest about your skills and experience from the start
  • Ask questions throughout, and don’t feel like you have to wait until the end. An interview is a two-way process!

Let us know as soon as possible if you require any adjustments for the interview.
