We will apply charges for the cost of some services. This is known as a recharge.<\/h3>\n

What constitutes a recharge?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A recharge will be applied in any instance where United Welsh has to pay for something for which you, as contract holder for the property, have liability. This includes, but is not limited to, charges for:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Call-outs where you did not provide access to your property during the agreed time-frame
\n\u2022 The removal of any unauthorised alterations or improvements to your property and any necessary re-instatement work
\n\u2022 Repairs, clearance and \/ or cleaning of a vacated property that is not attributable to normal wear and tear
\n\u2022 Cleaning and clearing of properties where this is required due to the condition of the property
\n\u2022 Repairs to a property required as a result of wilful damage, or neglect caused by you, or anyone living with you, or visiting you. This includes things like blocked sinks and toilets where you are found to be at fault
\n\u2022 Alleged criminal damage where you have not reported the incident to the police and obtained a crime reference number
\n\u2022 Insurance claim excess where you are found to be at fault
\n\u2022 Legal fees (including, but not limited to, solicitors costs incurred as a result of legal action)
\n\u2022 Theft of fixtures \/ fittings or furniture \/ goods that have been supplied by United Welsh
\n\u2022 Lock changes and replacement \/ additional keys and \/ or fobs
\n\u2022 Use of guest bedrooms in Thrive schemes
\n\u2022 Abuse of the emergency service. Costs of the call-out will be recharged where it is clear that the repair could have waited until the following working day.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Blocked toilet: \u00a330
\n\u2022 Blocked sink: \u00a330
\n\u2022 Double-glazed unit under 1m2: \u00a3105
\n\u2022 Doubled-glazed unit over 1m2: Dependent on size
\n\u2022 New front door: \u00a3570
\n\u2022 New back door: \u00a3480
\n\u2022 New internal door: Up to approximately \u00a3155 dependent on type
\n\u2022 Broken toilet: Up to approximately \u00a3200 dependent on type
\n\u2022 Broken smoke alarms: \u00a370
\n\u2022 Replacement key fobs: \u00a312
\n\u2022 Light bulb replacement: \u00a320
\n\u2022 Damage to kitchen worktops or kitchen units: Minimum of \u00a3100
\n\u2022 Reset trip switch: Up to \u00a365 dependent on type<\/p>\n

Please note that these figures are a guideline and do not include VAT or processing charges. You will be notified of the exact amount once the repair has been carried out.<\/p>\n

In most situations, you will be asked for payment in full or to set up a payment plan before the works are carried out. Costs may vary based on the situation and may end up costing considerably more depending on the circumstances.<\/p>\n
