Thrive Older Persons Forum
The Thrive Older Person Forum has been established as a way for tenants to feedback to Thrive management at United Welsh. Thrive is committed to developing services as people's needs change. The Forum gives a voice to each scheme to ensure the services develop in consultation with its tenants.
Each scheme has one tenant representative at the Forum. Tenants choose their representative on the forum. It does not have to be the same person, schemes can choose two tenants to attend alternative meetings. Meetings take place every two months.
Tenants then let their representative know about any concerns or feedback they have which is relevant to other schemes. If you feel uncomfortable approaching your representative you can let any member of Thrive staff know instead - this information will then be passed over to your representative.
What is discussed at the Forum?
Issues or feedback that is brought to the forum must be relevant to other schemes and Thrive as a whole. It is not to discuss issues that relate to one particular scheme or complex as these are to be discussed at your scheme meetings.
Management may be able to respond to some of these issues at the forum or if not the team may need to gather more evidence or information to provide you with a more comprehensive answer.
How will everyone know about what has been discussed?
It will be the representative's responsibility to feedback to tenants at their scheme about the content of the Forum meetings. This can be through one of your scheme meetings, talking to tenants individually or by putting a notice up on the notice board. Thrive staff will also ensure that the minutes are put up on the notice board at each scheme.
